Anybody have any experience with one of these? I know they were made in France and marketed as Capelle, Orange, and Promark. Looks like an interesting idea....clamping the pedal to the whole hoop, then being able to leave it there and pack it away in the same case as the bass drum, ingenious! Anybody know how fast or smooth they are, or how durable for that matter?

Orange, was also a Capelle brand , was it not? I have seen a version of, possibly the same upper mechanism on another more conventional pedal but can't place it.

very smooth with a light touch. If you are into fancy licks on the bass drum,It would be a good one.I had a Capelle, minus the hoop mount, and it was a fine pedal.Good luck,Matt

There was one on ebay with a BIN/BO and I made a rediculously low offer and the guy took it! So now I own one! Should be an interesting new toy....
