Same thing up here in Canada, John! Lots of good craft beers, but not a single major brewery is even owned outright by Canadians. Guess that's called "progress". I'll take the old days anytime!

Yes beer works well down here in our hot summers , Have enjoyed a few nice "moreish" Colorado Reds though in the US,... but heading into Autumn here now, so it's almost "Canadian Club" time..
