Premier serial, which year?

Hey. Just got a Premier drum kit where one of the toms has the serial number 53014969. Is it possible to locate from which year they are? I believe that they're somewhere round 75-80. Would be glad for some help.

I find it easier to date them by the style of badge and the wood that they're made from than the serial nos

Ok, thanks, I believe they're from 1978, looks like the Soundwave series.
