Ron & Ralf,Thanks for the advice. As a matter of fact, I'm looking at 2 BDP Royal Aces at the moment and one of them is indeed the one on offer at Ebay Germany. Asking prices are both the same.Attached you can find the other one.Seller says it's from 1959.Snares are obviously not original.Badge is scratched.Tone control doesn't look 1959,... isn't it?Stef
Tone control on my 14x4 R.A. (small badge connotes earlier edition)... see pics below
My later 14x5.5 (mid 60s) has the single round type.
From the pics available, I'd go for the first one. The wires look correct to me, even if they're not original. Besides, I believe Premier made both a single 18 strand set as well as a double 10. My 4" has the same single 18.

"What's the price the seller is asking?
Is it that one on German ebay, asking EUR 199.00 ? I wouldn't pay that
much for it. Maybe 150 - not more."

Ralf is not buying it... you are.
EUR 199 = $263. To me, anything under $300 for a 5.5" BDP Royal Ace would be a bargain. In fact, I consider mine a bargain for the $400 I paid two years ago!
