I just got home from a 2 day road trip with a Premier Resonator from the 70's and a few other goodies. Pics and questions to come! I will need 1 slotted t-rod for a tom, everything else is there. Is the threading on t-rods standard or a metric thread?

They are standard, as far as i know ;-)
Mine were standard too. I had to replace a few on my Resonators. Looking forward to some pics.
Thanks people! I'm cleaning them now and after a bit of sleep and coffee I realised that 2 t-rods have already been swapped out. I must be more alert when at buyers houses. I was a bit excited! I'm giving my neighbors 1 more hour of peace before these babies get played and photographed!

Like most here the bug has hit me hard. This time there were a few kits i've been looking at 1 province over and the other day the prices on both dropped beyond me wanting to leave them there so I made a mad dash road trip to Fredericton New Brunswick.I've been so busy that I forgot to upload some pics...so what I have here I believe is a 1978 or 1979 Resonator. At 22",13",14" and 16" these sound huge! I just finished fixing the tom mount with parts from a box a friend/bandleader gave me a few weeks ago after a gig. Damned if I didn't have every single part I needed in that box! I love when that happens! They just need a good detailing now, paint the rims, find a few missing slotted t-rods and 1 L-rod for the kick. The other kit is 2000s Stage Custom with those weird quick removal lugs. The finish is a bit scratched up but I got it really cheap to flip it and finance this drum run.
Back to the Resonator..any info would be great. I'm assuming 78/79 by catalogue pics but maybe one of you Premier people could help me narrow this down?

Looks fantastic, I'd love to play one some day
Fantastic drums you got there, those babies are hard to come by (especially in the U.S.). I recently saw a feature in Not So Modern Drummer about them, link below, and I loved the natural finish on them, it's just stunning :)

Beyond that, you probably know as much as I do about them - I too think they're 78-79.

Thanks Alex! I read that article when I got home with the Resonator and started digging around the net for info.
