Premier Preinternational 16x16 floor tom

Hi to all of you

Found this floor tom, and it is bigger then "normal" 16 floor.Found that it is pre-international and it is 16 5/16".I measured 410 mm

Can you tell model and year of production by pictures?

60's but it would be pre '68 since it is pre-international size. Check the inside for a four digit stamped date code.

it would be pre '68

Big yes to 'Thin Shell'.

Model was marked '446' over the years in different Premier's outfits -- 16x16" (actual dia 16-5/16") , 10 lugs, diecast hoops, pedal type legs brackets.

I'm not sure when the rectangular plastic internal muffler holders were introduced but I think your two pad red felt mufflers indicate that it is earlier 60's than later 60's.

None of the catalogs show the mufflers.
