Premier Orphans

Folks,

this is a kit I worked on bit by bit in the last five months. It consists of 4 orphans: a 20 inch bass drum (mohagony), a 13 inch rack-tom (birch), a 16 inch tenor tom (birch, not drilled for legs, so I kept it like that and made a special stand for it). All premier with die-cast hoops. I completed it with a 14 inch Edgware snare that I made out of an old marching drum.

The drums costed allmost nothing and in order to keep costs really low I decided to make my own sparkle finish (I don't like the cheap red sparkle wraps, because the sparkles are to tiny, and the Delmar wrap, which I like a lot, is way to expensive for this kit).

For details on snare and proces of making the finish, see:

Yes, a beautiful job for certain. The kit looks fantastic.. difficult to see from the pics that it is not a wrapped drum. Love your innovative sparkle finish.. They are a credit to you...

Cheers
