Just a note on Olympics. Prior to the mid-60's (not sure of the exact date) the rack toms and floor toms were built to unusual dimensions. This was true of Premier and Beverley(identical to Olympic,just with different lugs) as well. The 12" rack was about 11 7/8 and the 16" floor tom was somewhere over 16"and the 10" was 9 7/8" so standard heads will not fit. The snare drums bass drums and 14" floor toms were standard sizes ,at least the ones that I have worked on were. Remo still,makes heads for these but they would likely have to be ordered, if you are outside the U.K. They are easy to get here in Canada-----they have a PR ahead of the model #. I would think that Everplay would also make them as well and that it might be a stock item at a Premier dealer because there are quite a few of these drums around. I have a brand new set of 5 hole diecast 11 7/8" hoops ,which are not Premier! Perhaps, they are late 50's Beverley,when the company was in transition from high end to an Olympic stencil.
