I love the year of these drums and that vintage Premier sound and with the Mahogany Duroplastic wrap...Fantastic vintage set MrMahoganyDuroplastic!

Thanks Wayne, on closer inspection and with the presence of bass drum dampers I think this kit is actually from '65 as Premier stopped fitting these around that time. they do sound really good, I have a stage custom as well and these kick their ass :)

Wow, great kit. I've got the same kit, but possibly an earlier edition - doesn't have a bass damper. Love that copper/brown swirl. Have fun!

That's funny! I grabbed a Stage Custom and a 70's Resonator this week and the Premiers do kick ass! On the other hand, some days I miss Yamaha tom mounts and those Premier "tom trees" are at the bottom of my list. Btw, great kit! Is it too early to drink root beer?
