Premier Lockfast double tom holer

Hello eveyone.

Okay...I'm seriously stumped on this.

The double tom receiver mount on the bass drum has two big set screws to tighten the down tube. So far so good.

However, there is a small insert for the set screws to tighten against to avoid damaging the down tube.

I can't get the insert to stay in the mount. I can see where the set screws hit it, and there's only one way to get it in the correct position.

But, since it won't stay, I have to assume there's some microscopic part I'm missing. I have two of these bass drum mounting plates, so it does

Any help gladly appreciated...

Seems that when it's installed it's only the gasket beween the Bd shell and the top section of the mount that keeps it in place,

no expert but that's what it looks to me..

Thanks- when I fit the holder on the drum, the piece shakes loose and falls out..that's why I think there's a part missing. Maybe I need a parts sheet for the Lockfast holder...

I could only find this pic..

Don't see anything surprising here though.. maybe try a piece of rubber tubing around that pin/stud ??

Or wedge a piece of foam behind the troublesome piece to keep it pressed against the pin.. probably something simple is the fix..
