Premier Guys, help required...

I've had a 60s HiFi for about 30 years, and I just acquired another one which I think is younger. I can't date it - it's identical to my Hifi, except the badge does not have the word "HiFi" on it. When did Premier start putting "Made and Reg'd In England" on their badges? (pic1)

I also, for the past ten years, have been "minding" a later Premier snare for a mate who now lives in the US. My research tells me it has to be around 1987-1990 (pic2).

Can anyone assist with some semi-accurate dating of these two? I'm striking out. I'll put up some pics of the actual drums in a second as well...

The drums themselves.

First is the undated "HiFi", and second is the 80s one.

I'm only guessing it's 1987, as that's when it seems they started making the "i" in "Premier" look like a drumstick. At least it looks that way in the catalogues in drumarchive.com

Anyway, any thoughts are appreciated and I bow to the experts on board!
