I know it's old news, but I really want to give a shout-out to them. So underrated(maybe not here) and deserve more exposure. I have 18 kits and the Genista is one of my all-time favorites.

As a Premier fan myself, I am a bit wary of the "new" Premier drums.
I'm sticking to vintage myself; but I must say, those Genistas with the big round lugs are quite striking.
Weren't the Genistas created around the time Yamaha was distributing Premier?
AFAIK, yes, or right after.
Genista is one of those rare setups where EVERY piece is killer-kick, snare, and toms. Even my non-musician friends have said so.
I'd like to see some of the new kits up close. I'd also like to see if they tweaked their thread tapping; I always thought some of their late-model stuff could strip too easily.
