The sound of the African Mahagoni Shells is very cool, very warm, very deep but still a good go for Rock with the right heads and tuning:-), i got it for free because it was a leftover piece from a set wit two bassdrums! I have the Mounted Tom now on a Snarestand, with the monster sustain of that shells you can do that:-)

I like the way you have the tom set up. I do the same thing on my Slingerland kit. Keeps it off the bass and allows good tom adjustment. Really nice drums and thanks for the extra pictures.
