Thank you very much for your response,in the 1988 catalog I can see the re-rings inside the BD clearly, however the badge in the pics above is the Royale one I think,so mine is the yamaha era??
Premier drum set info
No its just pre- Yamaha. The 1988 catalogue actually mentions the 'new' stronger shells i.e. unsupported
No I'd say just prior or at the very early part. In my opinion your kit is 86/87
Oh yes,I see
yep great quality kits
When Premier started the Projector line they had bought out Beverly and used beverly style lugs, the projectors were birch with beech re rings no paint inside the shell.
The lugs on yours look like the beverly /projector lugs to me.
Thats the lugs they used before changing to the long single lugs in '88
Hi guys, sorry for refreshing this old thread, however,I'd like to hear your opinions.
Last year I bought a Cabria which it seems to be one of the last models made in England it was in metallic turquoise lacquer finish and a guy refinished it for me in red candy apple lacquer, unfortunately I must sell one of them which one should I keep? The 80's APK or the 90's Cabria in terms of value, sound and resale? Honestly to me the APK looks better constructed and the hardware shines a lot more only hardware better in the Cabria are the tom holder and bass drum spurs, speaking of sound I like the old APK a little more
let me show you before and after pics of the Cabria
