Premier custom finished restoration

Loading...

Hey guys,

I was talking to a friend of mine...an employee actually, who now has the drum bug. He just rewrapped a 24-14-18 set of Slingerland orphans and is now really interested in getting into restoration and building.

I had mentioned a set of Premier drums that had been restored and I cannot find that thread on this site. It would have been 1 - 2 years ago. The guy had taken a premier kit, had all the hardware replated with antique bronze or copper and finished the shells in a cracked antique white finish and they looked unbelievable. Does anyone know where to find that thread?

Thanks!

That guy does some amazing resto work!! He's on facebook too and always posts pics of his projects. His last was a patina cold steel look on a floor tom with Slingerland repop beavertail lugs. Very cool stuff. Wish he wasn't so far away!!!
