Premier Bop Project

Finally this project is complete.Excited

It started in Nov-2004 when I got a 70's Premier 18" floor tom stripped shell. I had a 60's 12" white metric tom and while I was working on the bass drum (plug holes, cut shell down, re-glue rering and redo edge) I found a 60's 14" floor tom in Blue Diamond Pearl. So, back in Nov-2004 I had this jelly bean kit. Love the sound.

Two years latter I found a "matching" 12" 60's metric tom in Blue Diamond. All I was missing was the Bass Drum.

The new Blue Diamond Pearl wrap is a bit different from Premier's

so I had to wait till I found an old Premier wrap... I bid my time and finally last December I managed to do so. After a little work here's what I got:

Inspiring stuff. love how you hung onto that tom for years and it finally all came together, Lovely kit, and nice playing too- love your usage of single strokes
