Hi- I am looking for a black shadow 14 x 6 1/2 snare for my third re-build project- good condition ideally- anyone help- Europe ideally ?- just missed one on e -bay

It's very, very tough to find one in America- I just want a bloody 18" floor tom here in America. I hate that I left some great drums back home. Grrrrrrr...

I have a found a 14 x 8 black shadow snare but I'm not convinced it will sit well with my set up as I don't think I can get it low enough to fit my set up- might need a bit of careful sawing of the trilok snare stand... definitely still interested in a 14 x 6 1/2. Good luck on your search for the floor tom bunnyman !

Yes, you will have to cut the pipes, on the basket and the base a few inches (2" at least) to get the snare to a proper height. Drill out the rivet on the base, cut the pipe, drill a new hole for the rivet (or screw) and assemble. I had to do this for my HR9.

ok you guys are about 4th and 5th on my list for Black Shadows

the other guy is 3rd for the 18 inch floor tom

get the 8 inch snare and take your vitamins and grow a couple of inches, and do what your mother told ya, sit the fek up straight

ok I feel better, cutting down the pipe, indeed:D
