Premier 36 snare tension rods.

Loading...

Hello, Just got hold of one of these beasts! it has come with 18 square tension rods and two slotted...

The number on the badge is 0225 and inside the drum is printed 46 7.

I would like to restore it to it's former glory and was wondering whether it originally came with slotted or square tension rods (logic dictates the second).

Is anyone able to date it from the numbers provided?

Thanks in advance.

And is this because all 35/36's had square ones or because of when it was made?

They all came after the switch to square-headed rods.

Numbers have no relevance to dating on Premier drums, by the way.

Great, great snare - 99% identical in sound to a Supra and way cheaper.
