Just picked up this gorgeous Premier 303 dated 1972. The kit was purchased this week from a closet for $180!
It is only missing a few slotted t-rods and wing nuts. Configured in 20,16,14,14,12 with die-cast hoops and 3-ply African Mahogany with solid Beech re-rings, it has a warm vintage tone. It even came with the original slotted Premier drum key!
The snare has the nice parallel strainer.
Yes, those are the lovely flat based snare, hi hat and cymbal stands!
The only problem with the original "Silver Star" wrap is that the previous owner's baby daughter had peeled off the silver in some spots on the bass drum
the kit is quite dirty but I will enjoy fixing up this vintage piece.
Any suggestions about the wrap will be appreciated
