Premier 252 Bass Drum Pedal - any schemes or manuals?

Loading...

Hi, everybody! Happy New Year! I've recently bought a Premier 252

Bass Drum Pedal and it is pretty old, but fully-functioning. There are a

few rusty screws and parts I would like to make shiny again, but I

seem to be unable to disassemble it. And one screw in particular looks

like a rivet (in the picture). I guess, it's one of the main bearing

structural parts. I don't want to force it - afraid to break something... Is

it at all dismountable? Does anybody have any schemes or manuals?

Thanks!

I have 5 or 6 of those pedals and have never disassembled one that far-never needed to. That looks like a roll pin driven in to hold an internal part in place. Usually there would be another hole on the opposite side to drive it out with the appropriately sized pin driver.
