Pre-Serial Ludwig Duco Club Date

Loading...

That looks to be a 22" bass 13"tom 14"floortom and of course a 14" snare.

I have a Slingerleedy in the same finish but nowhere near as nice as this.

Pre serial so they are probably mahogany with the clubdate lugs AND a Duco paint job!

Those things must sing!

I like Drums...

These are 13,14,22 w/ the matching snare. The 14" floor tom was probably added a year or two later as it is an early serialed badge and the rest are all pre serial.

I will likely be listing these for sale soon if anyone is interested.

Flat-out amazing kit Randy! A 22" BD with center lugs is a thing to behold!

...it's a thing to buy, too, and I wish I could!

That duco finish has always been appealing. Kudos to Manny for selling back the snare so all pieces are held together!

From randy73

Thanks fellas! These only needed a little polish and a lot of elbow grease. They are in excellent shape other than some unfortunate small scratches on the bass drum and a little normal wear on the hoops.

Wow! I do not see any dings or nicks in the duco, which is amazing with drums that old.

I'm working on a Rogers Blue/Silver Duco kit (22/13/15 w/snare), which is riddled with "character". What type of polish did you use to get that shine?

Thanks for posting.

If I remember correctly, I used Mcguires Ultimate Compond to polish these.
