I have what you have so can't fill in any blanks other than to say that my Ludwig percussion '80 has a copyright of 1978 so I was a little confused on that particular date. I use the copyright date in my files as opposed to the Catalog No., which is why my posts may have dates that don't fit the norm from time to time.......

Has anybody gone through the Ludwig Drummer Magazines and looked in there for any information on the Jazzette. Back in the 1960's it was common for Ludwig to mention new additions to the line there with maybe even what looked like modified Catalog pages, showing the "New Kid on the Block," inserted in the Magazine "proper."

You are absolutely right Dave, that will be a biggie, I started putting together something similar but bailed when things started getting, well, like you said, HUGE. In my case I figured this was redundant and was taking up file space that could be used for other Catalogs still coming in, heck, I still have over 250 Catalogs to scan in, which I am hoping to make a dent in this Winter. After I get all those in just trying to wade through "singles" of each piece of information will be good enough for me....................

You are a good man to be doing this for the Vintage CommunityCool
