Practice drum pad

Hi,

I figured I would tap the site for some info as many of you are seasoned practicing drummers. I am looking for a drum pad to take on the road with me to practice those rudiments and stuff. I have googled and found a virtual ton of different pads and want to get the one that most closely resembles a real drum head if possible. So, which brand/size/type should I buy?

Also, are those weighted aluminum sticks worth the hassle or are they a gimmick?

I agree with prudie shuffle , aquarian true -bounce is the way to go .

i have 11 of them , new of course . if you would like to get one i will make you a price .

Hi,

I appreciate the offer and definitely would buy from a member first but I am going to pass this info along to my son. He asked me for gift ideas for myself and this fits his apprentice welder's paycheck perfectly!
