came across these while searching goodwill . com. My first thought was...i wonder if these are Star drums and wonder if Ralf would be interested.

i think this is a really nice kit and seems to be in very good condition and complete. Dont find many of these in this good of condition so just wanted to share. i hope it winds up in caring n respectful hands.

just noticed after looking at the photos again that the 12" tom and bass drum have the offset lugs but the 13" tom n fl tom dont. so would that make this a mixed kit? either way i still like it.

Thanks for thinking of me.

I have a soft spot for Star drums - and I'm not a big collector of Star drums in real, but of pics of Star drums only (although I have three sets). ;)

Furtheron, I live on the other side of the pond.

The pic is not sharp enough and doesn't show the details exactly, but I think this Star drumset is stripped.

so by "stripped" you mean at one time they had a wrap?

Ralf- darn, sorry, was hoping to be of better help. yes, any time i see a star drum set, my first thought is of you. i know you are very faund of star drums and thought you'd be more of a collector. I've become a pretty big fan of them too. my tie dye kit is a star orphan kit. anyway, thought you'd be interested. thanks for looking.

Mikey- after i looked over the photos more, i figured they were pieced together. i still think its a nice kit. i kinda wish i could buy them and do another project with them. oh well.

so are you bidding on these drums? somebody is gonna walk away with these babies for under 25 dollar's. wish that somebody was me, i could afford them at that price, its the shipping that will hurt me. they would be well worth it tho. hope you can get them.
