Post 1968 Star made Majestic kit for sale

Well - my very first full restore - is slipping away.

I would love one of you to have it. It is included on Ralf's Star website and it is in great condition - fully restored - with good heads too.

The snare is the best sounding vintage MIJ snare I have ever had - very woody sounding. The floor tom is the best sounding 14 incher I have ever heard.

These are the 1968 and later thicker shells.

I fully restored these a couple years ago and then sold it to my friend. I reserved the right to buy these back from him but am out of state and frankly in no position to buy these back. Unfortunately we will have to let these go - but I hope it lands with someone I know here because then I know they will be treated well and played out as they should be.

Please contact the seller for negotiations, but feel free to ask me any questions also - as I am the one who restored these.

I fully support the firm price, as this has been fully restored and has nearly $100 in heads alone.

John I want your kit I am in Saginaw with the same kit 13, 16, 22 but I just bought a house and now I am broke.

Currently my first set ever 1983 Pearl Export original owner. 2008 Grestch Catalina Maple, and a 1970 Star kit. Many snares including a big R Dynasonic.
Previous Rogers Holiday 12, 16, 20 and powertone snare.
Premier apk and Premier Cabria kits.

Funny you say - my buddy is selling stuff (including this kit) in order to buy a house!

I was just notified earlier today, by my friend, that this kit has been SOLD and is now gone. Knew it would not last long. New owner will be blessed. If that is you, chime in here:)
