That is a Leedy made around 1920. Leedy made drums for other musical instrument dealers...I've never seen a drum sold by Selmer before, but Leedy made drums for Conn and Wurlizter, as well as catalog mail order companies. That is essentially a Leedy Multimodel. I've noticed that when Leedy made drums for other companies, they often used the standard (of the time) clip type rims instead of their usual cast rims. I guess they did this to differentiate the drums from the Leedy branded ones. Looks like either black nickel or black enamel with gold (most likely imitation or brass plated) hardware. Would have been a "top of the line" drum. Leedy called that an "elite"...often, but not always, the black ones were engraved, and the white ones were white enamel with "gold" hardware.

Hope this helps. If the drum is for sale, please let me know as I collect these! Rich rkalinsky@aol.com
