possible compatible snare throw offs for ludwig supersensitive

Loading...

Hello Guys,

Long time reader, first time poster from Hong Kong.

I was recently given a 70's supersensitive shell as a gift. I've always found the supersensitive system to be overly complicated and do not want to build the shell back into a supersensitive snare. Not wanting to bore new holes in the shell, are there options out there, as far as throwoff goes, that can accomodate the original mounting position of a supersensitive snare?

I am willing to order parts internationally and would like to hear any suggestions or comments. Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Make an 'adapter' out of a piece of aluminum that you can secure to the shell using the super sensitive holes. Then mount a P-83 on the aluminum plate.

You can do the same deal for the butt side. Nice to meet you, welcome to VDF.

John

Too many great drums to list here!
