In this case the "Super Set O Matic" would be hanging way out front of the front hoop though.. I looked at that option but it would certainly look a bit weird..Cheers

Yes you are right, both the New Horizon and the Time Machine kits had the Bd mount forward, but I believe it was still around 1.5 " back from the front hoop. On the kit in question the mount appears to be further forward still.... I have no idea what the mounting criteria for the Super Set O Matic was ??.. My 77 Rock kit was supplied with the SSM mounted dead centre, personally I did not like it, way too cumbersome for me.. looked like it belonged on a Harley, after around 3 weeks of perseverance I took it back for a swap over to the Standard SS post.
