I've searched my 80's stuff and no reference to this model number. I think it is 90's or very late 80's.

I would compare it to a current model in Yamaha production and probably charge less. Since it is a newer drum it would not gain value like a vintage drum.

New drums are like buying new cars, once you get them off of the lot they depreciate in value.

I have 2 Yamaha snares in my collection so I do like them and will continue to play them.

Sending a picture to me would also help.

O.k. I have to rethink my post.

Unfortunately this is out of me element and will have to look into

my catalogs a little deeper.

Let me get back to you on this.

It seems like the drums now are all made @ the POS factory.

Remember when SONOR had hardware built like a Kenworth w/ chrome you could see from 5 mi away.

???

Once I called LUDWIG about slotted coliseum snare drum, I bought around '88. They said they hadn't made it in 10 yrs,,,,,said the man w/ a chinese accent......wtf....and I called around 1996....lol .
