PLEASE Identify these drums!!

My friend had tried to pick up drums, but it never fell through. He was throwing out his drumset which he had owned for years, and I told him I would gladly take them. I traded the original snare with my friend for a ludwig snare since he liked the sound of mine better. The original bass drum head read, 'Slingerland', so for a while I thought it was in fact a Slingerland Drum Kit, but now I'm having second thoughts, and because I'm into audio recording, it's really important I know if this said is a stud or a dud. I've attached multiple photos, including the shady DIA Sticker on the top of the bass drum. The Clamp holding the tom onto the cymbol stand was originally on top of the bass drum, but somehow mysteriously fit onto my Flea Market bought cymbol stand. Thanks!

Wait, just to be positive. Is it at all possible for me to get a useful sound through my mics out of these? I'm using you'r basic Shure 57/52a mic setup, and I'm on a very strict budget, and drums aren't my top priority as of now. Sure they may be valueless, but as far as sound are they completely worthless?

If the drums had all the hardware (missing hoops, heads, etc...) on them, then there is a chance you'd have a decent sounding kit. It won't sound like a vintage Ludwig, Slingerland, Rogers, Gretsch, etc... but it will have it's own sound/vibe.

Some of the import kits from the 60's and 70's are very usable, studio or otherwise - To give them a fair chance, you'd at least have to have the kit the way the factory shipped it, IMHO.

I have an old Japanese floor tom that I use to record my kit.. I think these drums have fairly good sound... I think they sound similiar to some lower end Tama/ Mapex sets.
