Please, help me identify this 8 lug snare...

Loading...

...probably not worth much but anyway...

I think there is some rest from a label at the grommet. Something red... My first thought was Olympic, but nope, can't find it in the catalogues. Pearl also had a red "P" surrounding the grommet.

Well, all help's appreciated!

Definitely a Pearl snare drum: the sharp corners at the base (of the lugs) are a strong indication for it. Is it a heavy shell? How many lugs?

Thanks Ralf!

It has eight lugs. Not so heavy. Feels like standard weight. I'll search some more in the Pearl catalogues.

I have a Tempro pro (pearl) bass drum and mounted tom with those style lugs

The Tempro badge is red and mounted at the grommet also

My Whitehall (pearl) BDP kit uses those style lugs too

Thanks Kenwood! It surely is some kind of a Pearl drum. I found a very similar snare in a Whitehall kit on the Internet.
