Hi there - i purchased an old beaten up Pearl bass drum to renovate - its still on its way to me so i have not yet checked it out in person, but here's some pics. Can anyone assist in identifying the drum (series) and give me some info relating to the wood, wrap used etc please. Do you agree that it looks like a 24"? I see it has 10 lugs per side. Any help would be appreciated.

That is the base model luan drum from around 1978. Same construction as Maxwin. It may be a 24", as it has 10 lugs. That would be a good score if it is.
Thanks Teverson - I'm also kinda hope that it's s 24" except finding a used hoop could prove a challenge here in South Africa.
