well the big jam session finally got here i bounced around between 2kits my 64 downbeat with 71 supra and a slingy 65 blue agate 14x20 bd actually the comments where the ludwigs are great sounding but the set up on the slingys was shot gun with a aquarian bd double ring and it just was a rocket could not keep a base pedal on it so stuck to my luddys tryed 3 pedals a sk a ghost and a taye i did not want to take a pliers to it. now to nurse my hangover it ended at 3:15 am felt good but my right elbow has a brace on it pa sucked i guess if you dont use it it just breaks down, and im deaf now oh what fun cant wait to do it again ..

Fun stuff! It's my turn tonight! Taking the "new" sparkling green Slingerland kit out for a St. Patrick's Day festival. Probably play 4 or 5 hours. I can't wait!
Hope your elbow feels better and your ears quit ringing. I use Hear-Os flanged ear "filters" and I haven't had a problem with bad ringing and headaches since...4 or 5 years now. You should give them a shot, they're about $8 at your local music store.

Must be the weekend for marathon gigs, as I played a 7.5 hour (5 one hour sets) St. Paddy's gig last night. My Black Panther Holiday kit got an extreme workout! Big fun, but I am tuckered out. Bike Week winding down - 5 gigs in the past 6 days!
