Have y'all ever had a chrome snare with pitting on the bearing edge? There's a pretty good amount of pitting and flaking so I'm wondering how much it would affect the sound. I've got a line on a (relatively) cheap 402 and if that's gonna be an issue I'll just pass.
The listing also says because the rims are bent it's difficult to tell if the shell is out of round, but I wonder just how out of round a Supra shell could be before you hear it. Wouldn't you think a warped shell would be obvious to the naked eye if it was bad enough to affect the sound of the drum?
