Beverley snare in Oyster Wine wrap. When I bought it it was covered in wood grain contact paper. Not great sounding, but one of the coolest wraps I had ever seen.
Really like the lugs/finish on this one...!Eye Ball

HY here are my sets that i´ve sold! The first pic is a Maxwin by Pearl, i restored it completly and got a cool price for it:-)The second one is a mix between Tromsa and Premier! I made that set out of all the old parts i had at home. This one is a sale that i regret, because it had a huge sound:-(3rd one is a Sonor, probably 1956, bought it in a very bad state but very cheap and also made good money out of it:-)...and it´s also a very nice kit to look at:-)The next one is an old MIJ, don`t know wich. The last one is a set with old Tromsa Shells and Pearl lugs. I wrapped that kit completly new. Was a cool projekt:-)I sold that one to a localy very famous jazzdrummer in vienna. He was absolutly amazed by the open sound of the set. So everybodey got happy:-)Sold some more ,but they were not vintage and more to make money for my vintage hobby...probably like a lot of you guys do:-)regards
That adjustable BD muffler on the 56 Sonor kit cracks me up...never seen one like that before!Clapping Happy2
Best sounding snare I've ever had! Sold it for a down payment on my house, along with a Gretsch RB kit, a WFL kit, and a matching Radio King set. I wish I had this snare back!
HY crashit´s from STdrums in Germany, they don`t offer that one anymore. The name was grey charcoal or so! I have a wee bit left at home, for a 3 piece drumset, it might be enough!regards
Great looking stuff! I tend to like unique finishes. Here's my current gigging set.
There have been several, but these are the ones I'd like to have back.
Cloud Badge Radio King before I even knew what they were

1984 Tama Swingstar in Aspen White.
Say what you will about imports but these drums are bulletproof.
Heavy duty wrap, Zolacoated interiors, stupid simple hardware.
I never realized how good bottom end Japanese drums were until I played on Chinese ones
