I saw this drum in a dumpster,. At first appearance I thought maybe a kid wired it for electricity. But after reading a little and seeing the WFL on the the tension lugs or claws it got the blood pumping. Not in the best shape. any idea on the year it might have been made? thanks

The finish is painted. Black with a gold stripe. WFL on the tensioners. I have reduced my pic's but it will not let me load them.

Well, it was not uncommon for drums to have a light bulb installed for calf heads. If the electrical components look old then that is probably what it is.
The drum could be 40's or 50's, the badge would really tell the tale, but it does not look like it is still on the drum.
The Deluxe Club Date had the center lugs, what is the drum size?
