Someone gave my drum teacher an early 70s Rogers butcher block on consignment. He thought it was an old crappy kit and was going to sell it to one of his new students as a beater kit. I scooped it up right away and I think I got a pretty good deal on it at $300. It's going to need a deep cleaning but I think it has potential to be a great players kit, which I intend to do.
I do have some questions though. It appears to be a virgin 22" kick drum. Is that possible? It doesn't look like a re-wrap and I don't see and holes inside the bass for tom holder. It has 2 coated bass drums heads and it looks like the inside of the bass has never seen prolonged sunlight.

It has 2 16" floor toms and I have no idea if there were purchased like that. Only one has the rogers tag inside and it is a later serial number.

The 13" rack tom has the swivomatic on it so that makes the virgin bass even more confusing.

Lastly it looks like a drum shop in Chicago put their stickers on them when they were sold. Not a fan of stickers on the drums put it's pretty cool given the age.

Any input or info is greatly appreciated.
