Pearl World Series was a step above export, from around 87-88'. Both were taiwanese but the world had double braced harware, unilock tomholders, pro bass drum spurs, and floortom legs and they had Ten lug bass drums and snares. world series was available in lacquer or wrapped finish. Basically Mohogany with birch inner ply. They were replaced by the session series.

These were pearls competition to tamas imperial star.

Good drum but not worth a whole lot.

They typically sell for around $100 on ebay.

$50 was a good deal.
