I'm going to say those are Hoshino drums, due to the lug shape.Beware,as some Hoshino's are O.K.and some are HORRENDOUS.NO discernable bearing edge and soft wood rerings.Ask for an interior shot if possible.

Yes they could be Hoshino's - I have a set of early 70's Hoshinos that I use with the students at my drum school that are 100% cool-

Any luan wood shell kits that have years on them - these drums you NEED to see inside the drum photos- luan doesn't age well often times. You gotta find one that has been kept dry and not under high tension. ANY kit like this will need new lug bolts for every tension lug- the old ones will snap off as you tension them up or as you are playing- one here and another there---- easier just to replace them all at once. I got two full bags of vintage replacement lug bolts from Mikey last year - very convenient to have purchased. Best of luck.

Here is a shot of my Hoshino kit from the sale when I bought them for lug reference.

That is one of the most sought after wraps, it is called "Candy Cane", and I'm fair;y sure they are drums...

Even if they are Hoshino, the wrap alone is worth the price of admission, if they stay low enough.
