I am trying to figure out exactly what I have here before selling this snare. If anyone can help me figure a date and a value I would really appreciate it.
There is a sticker on it that says "made in taiwan."
Thanks in advance gents!
Just a Pearl Taiwanese snare. Probably from around the mid-late 70s. It's kind of cool in that it has the 'Gold Bar' lugs. This snare would match a set that had the 'Battleship' style lugs.
Value????? Up to the buyer, but generally anywhere from 25 to maybe 80 bucks.
thanks man i really appreciate it! I put $80 on it and i do think it actually sounds very good.
I used one of those in a pinch a while back and was pleasantly surprised by its sound.
i played one for years a little earlier, as that was all i could get than ,it pops
