Export series, 6 ply, probably 2001-2003. That's all I can find about this drum.

What's the difference between ELX and EX, and which one is this? Not being a Pearl guy I have no idea about their model no's etc.

Any info gladly accepted!

I think the L stands for lacquer finish.EX were wrapped.

Ah, that makes sense. This one is lacquered - the wood grain is visible through the black, so it's an ELX. Thanks for that!
