I'm trying to identify the year of my Pearl President kit. I've owned the kit since the mid 70's, and it wasn't new looking then, so I'm guessing late 60's? I've included a photo of the badge. Does anyone have any idea when this kit was made?

Based upon information available in old catalogs, the "Pearl President" line only appeared in the American market in the 1969 catalog. It was not offered in the 1970 catalog. The badges you have pictured are also only shown in the 1969 catalog. See www.vintagedrumguide.com for more info.
There are and always have been "exceptions" found during transitional periods, however, to what's been available in the catalogs... with most if not all drum makers. But I'd still say 1969, with late 1968 and early 1970 as being possible.
