It depends how much of a sentimental value you put on it..
Will you find another set that will sound as good as that and feel as good as that?

Ah, Wise words :) I do have another kit which is a Yamaha Recording Custom but this I wrap in cotton wool as it pains me to gig with it (Especially if it is kit share). TBH, The MLX is far too nice to gig with & I was always tentative when I had to share it. I "May" go & buy a second hand kit that I don't care too much for & gig with that.
