Did Pearl make a solid shell re ring maple back in the 90's?
Or was it just a ply with re rings?
I'm seeing one for sale on CL,but don't know what to make from the pics.

I know that Pearl produced Masters Custom Classic snare drums with solid, one-piece maple shells in the 1990s. I had one, and it was a top-end, high quality drum!
I believe they also made / make a six-ply Custom maple shell, though I can't comment on the re-rings. Maybe these were Custom, rather than Classic??

Just saw one out on Ebay.
Says 4 ply with re rings.
So not a solid ply from what I can see.
