Pearl Masters Custom from 90's Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

Hi all,

I have seen this question asked a couple of times, but not sure I have found the answer.

Looking at a set of Peral Masters Custom on Craigslist. Jazz sizes. 12,14,18. Seller says they are not the MCX but higher end 6 ply maple from mid 90's. How can I determine what model they may be? Any tell tale signs, etc? What are some questions to ask?

No expert here, but I believe the Masters from the 90's had t-rods on the BD. MCX have key rods.

Obviously, badges are different too. 90's version is rectangle, right?
