Did Pearl make an earlier set with tear drop lugs that were NOT offset,like the Star seemed to be?

I dont think Pearl ever made a tear drop style lug. Not all the Star sets with tear drop lugs are off set, either.
If the lug you're talking about is a little larger than the Star tear drop, then it might be what I call a shark tooth lug. Those are associate with Hoshino and also possibly Pearl. I think I've seen them on Maxwin, or maybe Maxitone drums, which I think were made by Pearl (but were a 70s stencil.)
