I've had this Pearl drumset for about 13 years (it was my first), and due to some bad cards in life I'm now having to sell it. When it was originally purchased it had 11 drums plus hardware, but through time some of the drums and all the stands have disappeared. I was just wondering if some of you guys could fill me in with a little bit of information on it because I haven't been able to find much. The small bit I did find made it appear as though these are concert toms from the mid 80's or so. But like I said I have to sell them. I really don't want to...even though I ended up focusing entirely on marching percussion (DCI and a bit of WGI) ...it was this set of old faithfuls my parents bought me for Christmas when I was 12 that got the ball rolling. CCR - "Down on the Corner"... first song I ever learned. No lessons the first few years just a lot of patience... It took me a while to figure out my coordination, holding the sticks, and everything else but I'm glad I stuck with it. Drumming has given me some great opportunities and experiences in life, and I still pull my pad out to keep the chops up. Holy crap. First post on a forum and I go down memory lane.
