Naw man, this is a a real forum Ringo- you can post and work through ideas- say and think what you want- it's cool- I just don't want you to waste money if it's a risk. I have heard of probably 10 drummers who bought supposed COBs online only to find out they were steel drums- this one looked so identical to my steel drum that I just had to tell you that. Please take no offense to any commentary regarding drum vintage,origin,construction etc.We are all on the road of knowledge together.And if by chance between 3-5 or how ever many entries it takes to form a general consensus we come to a conclusion....hooray!We all benefit.

Bishop's drum is more the classic Pearl COB with the die cast hoops extended wires and the three ridges- that i could by online with some confidence- very nice specimen there!
why thank you very much mr bop! i nearly sold it on here a while ago but the guy thought it a little expensive.they are a great drum,very underated in my book!
So experts, out of interest, is this a COB model (as it is being advertised as) or in fact steel?
