Another piece of my collection, a very nice 1969 PEARL in WMP.
A good find of the summer.
Still with originals drumheads, the WMP is still white cause the kit was under a cover.
There is rust on hoops and the "battleship" lugs are touched by the rust too. The rhodoïd is push and sqeeze by the lugs.
It Sounds great, i was really surprise by the original drumheads...

I would have said WMP but i guess technically it's marine pearl or white pearl according to the Pearl finish chart. I'm going to go with white pearl. I had a kit in the same finish. Sold it recently.
walstib: You have a beautiful Pearl Kit. I,am getting ready to hear how a modern Pearl set sounds, but I know they cannot come close to a vintage set like yours. The Pearl Script on the shells looks beautiful.
