That is one beautiful kit. I've never had good luck at Pawn Shops on vintage drums. I hope you did well. They all seem to think anything made earlier than 1980 is worth $2000+.
I got in at $1000. No real resale room. I just really like Sparkling silver.
i have a deluxe classic in sky blue pearl, maybe I'll sell that one. We will see how this one sounds with some fresh heads.

I've noticed some people say Mitch used a 14" & 16" floortoms but most pics it looks like two 16's.
Couldn't find definitive proof either way.
I did see that his kit had four disappearing spurs, instead of the folding ones.
Original heads too??? Wow. So it has two 16 floor toms? A couple of the pics make it look like one is smaller. Probably just an illusion. Congrats!!Mike

They already sold the Supraphonic, when I found them. They had them sitting in the window! Fortunately it's been overcast the past few days.

The kick heads are not original, just top and bottom of the 13 and 16's.
I won't likely use them anyway just for pictures.
Finally had a chance to set them up and take som pics. This was a layaway at a pawnshop, 10% down, 10% a month, for 10 months.
I'll pop the heads of tonight and search for some date stamps, but I've got a feeling one of the floortoms and the bass are from one kit and the other floor tom and tom tom are from another. We'll see.

13" tom is serial 397698 date stamp OCT 12 1966
16" floortom serial 394174, date stamp OCT 12 1966
16" floortom serial 185335, date stamp not found.
22" bass drum serial 172531, date stamp AUG -2 1965
The '66 drums are mahogany poplar maple
The '65 drums are mahogany poplar mahogany
The '65 floortom definitely had the bottom hoop off and a tom or hardware transported inside of it.
